Product Finish
Oiled
Oil penetrates the wear layer of the hardwood flooring which helps to accentuate the natural, raw feeling of the wood and protect the flooring from both inside and outside. Oiled flooring is harder to maintain but easier to repair. If the flooring has a natural oil finish, it is recommended to reapply the oil every year.
Product Species
Walnut
Walnut is favoured for its rich and deep reddish brown natural colour and unique swirly grain which is perfect for a traditional look. Although, it is on a softer side of a scale compared to oak.
Product Appearance
Matt
Matt finish offers a natural and a non-reflective appearance which will make the scratches less visible in the future. Sheen level varying between 10-15%.
Product Character
Brushed
This process involves removing soft particles from the top layer of the wooden flooring which increases its durability and resilience to scratches. This method enhances the natural beauty of the flooring by creating a textured surface.
Product Grade
Classic (BC)
BC is a classic grade meaning some boards will have more colour variation, natural knots and other boards will be more uniform.
Product Thickness
15mm
15mm engineered flooring is one of the most common thicknesses as it provides good stability with a 3-4mm wooden wear layer.
